Ontario Disability Support Program
Ontario Disability Support Program provides income support to people over the age of eighteen who meet the legislated definition of disability and who are in financial need.

Ontario Works
The Ontario Works Act provides the legislative framework for the provision of employment assistance and temporary financial need.
Residential Tenancies Act
The Residential Tenancies Act outlines the rules that govern the relationship between landlords and tenants, including rules about rents and terminating tenancies. Disputes about issues in the landlord and tenant relationship are resolved by the Landlord and Tenant Board.
Workers' Compensation
Workers' Compensation is governed by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act which compensates injured workers for losses due to workplace injuries, and promotes health and safety, and the prevention of injuries and disease in the workplace. Disputes falling under this Act are heard before the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (formerly known as the Workers' Compensation Board), and the Workers Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal.

Compensation for Victims of Crime
The Compensation for Victims of Crime Act outlines the eligibility and rules regarding a claim for compensation by a victim of a crime of violence. The application is made to and determined by the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board. To obtain forms, contact the Board using this toll-free number: 1-800-372-7463.
